Treatment Process

Common Conditions and Treatment Process

Dosha and Dhatu Dushti

  • Menorrhagia: High Pitta vitiates the Rakta Dhatu (Blood), leading to overflow.
  • Scanty Periods: High Vata-Kapha blocks the Artavavaha Srotas, causing deficiency in Rasa Dhatu.

Briefing the Symptoms

  • Menorrhagia: Passing large clots, soaking through pads every hour, and severe anemia/fatigue.
  • Hypomenorrhea: Period lasts only 1-2 days with very light spotting.
  • Oligomenorrhea: Long gaps between cycles and unpredictable dates.

Treatment Protocol at Maharshi Charak Ayurvedic Aushdhalya Clinic

For heavy bleeding, we use Stambhana (cooling and astringent) therapy to balance Pitta. For scanty flow, we use Ushna (warming) and Vata-Anulomana herbs to clear obstructions. We include iron-rich Ayurvedic supplements and stress-management protocols.

Frequently Asked Questions ?

No, Ayurveda provides a non-hormonal, natural alternative.

  • Is it normal to have periods twice a month?

No, this is a Pitta imbalance that needs correction.

  • Does diet affect the flow?

Yes, spicy/salty food increases flow, while cold/dry food can decrease it.
